We recently held our very first Ebru-collage exhibition at Jelky András Applied Arts High School, featuring artworks created by our students. These pieces combined the traditional Turkish marbling technique with our students’ own pattern designs – resulting in unique and expressive visual stories.
Our students gave short presentations about the history and cultural significance of Ebru art in three languages: Hungarian, English and Turkish. We’re proud of how they represented not just their creativity, but also the cultural message behind the artwork. The event concluded with a relaxed gathering and traditional Turkish tea.
We’re thankful to all families, guests, and supporters who joined us. For us, this event was an important step in showing how art connects, teaches, and builds community.
