Donation for the refugees from Ukraine

Our school in Budapest has organized a fundraising for the refugees from Ukraine. One of our principles is self-improvement, also respect for one another and humane behaviour. We got in connection with the Hungarian Red Cross and announced the fundraising among our students. To advertise our aims, we made a poster, which can be seen on our Facebook site and it is found in every classroom. Moreover, we are continuously drawing our students’ attention on the importance of this issue and we also asked the parents to help.

We are very glad that on the first 2 days we could collect a lot of keepable and tinned food, sweets and toiletries. Some parents offered to help to transport the donations, we are very grateful for them. The students were very keen on putting the bags into the car. One of our colleagues together with a student have already transported the first packages. We are looking forward to the donations, our fundraising is still going on.
